Parking Options

Ample parking is available near the Lantern at a variety of lots and garages, three of which offer discounts to Lantern patrons as specified below. Metered street parking is also available during posted hours.

The Autopark at Jefferson (Philadelphia Parking Authority)
16 S. 10th Street (10th & Ludlow Streets)
Enter on 10th Street, across the street from St. Stephen's Church
—  Discount available for Lantern SUBSCRIBERS ONLY  —

  • Evening performances: Flat rate of $5 for entry after 5:00pm. Performance days only!
  • Matinee performances: Flat rate of $12 for entry after 12 noon. Performance days only!
  • Instructions: Collect a regular parking ticket when entering the garage. Present your SUBSCRIBER ticket stub at the Box Office before the show or the Concession Stand during intermission to request your PPA Parking Coupon. When leaving the garage, insert your regular parking ticket in the payment machine THEN your discount parking coupon, and wait for your reduced price to appear before entering payment. If you have any questions, please see the parking attendant on duty.
  • Note: This parking discount is available for Lantern SUBSCRIBERS ONLY. Parking discount/coupons are supplied by the Philadelphia Parking Authority, include restrictions imposed by Philadelphia Parking Authority, and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The Lantern is not responsible for miscommunications with the parking garage.

LAZ Parking
107 S. 10th Street (10th & Chestnut Streets)
Enter on 10th Street, immediately past Bank of America
—  Discount available for ALL Lantern patrons  —

  • Weekday performances: Flat rate of $6 for entry after 5:00pm.
  • Weekend matinee performances: Flat rate of $6 between 11:30am-6:00pm only.
  • Instructions: Collect a regular parking ticket when entering the garage. Visit the Box Office before the show or the Concession Stand during intermission to request your LAZ Parking Coupon. When leaving the garage, insert your regular parking ticket in the payment machine THEN your discount parking coupon, and wait for your reduced price to appear before entering payment. If you have any questions, please see the parking attendant on duty.
  • Note: This parking discount is available for ALL Lantern ticket holders. Parking discount/coupons are supplied by LAZ Parking, include restrictions imposed by LAZ Parking, and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The Lantern is not responsible for miscommunications with the parking garage.
Central Parking
1128 Sansom Street (11th & Sansom Streets)
—  Discount available for ALL Lantern patrons  —

  • Evening performances: Flat rate of $5 for up to 5 hours after 3:00pm, daily.
  • Instructions: Collect a regular parking ticket when entering the garage. Visit the Box Office before the show or the Concession Stand during intermission to request your Central Parking Coupon. When leaving the garage, insert your regular parking ticket in the payment machine THEN your discount parking coupon, and wait for your reduced price to appear before entering payment. If you have any questions, please see the parking attendant on duty.
