![]() Production History
Lantern Theater Company has been creating intimate and engaging theater in Philadelphia since 1994, creating over 120 productions by a wide range of contemporary and celebrated classic playwrights. Through our New Works Program, we are dedicated to developing and producing new plays – often new interpretations of classic literature. Recent world premieres include Me and the Devil by Steve H. Broadnax III and Charles Dumas, and an original adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol by Anthony Lawton, Christopher Colucci, and Thom Weaver – which returns to the Drake Theatre in December 2022..
