Lantern Theater Company has been creating intimate and engaging theater in Philadelphia since 1994, producing over 100 plays by a wide range of contemporary and celebrated classic playwrights. Through our New Works Program, we are dedicated to developing and producing new plays – often new interpretations of classic literature. Recent world premieres include Me and the Devil by Steve H. Broadnax III and Charles Dumas, The Craftsman by Bruce Graham, Minors by Kittson O'Neill and Robert Kaplowitz, and an original adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol by Anthony Lawton, Christopher Colucci, and Thom Weaver.
